Ubisoft has hit it out of the ballpark with this one. After the terrible response to AC-Unity, Syndicate comes as a breath of fresh air for gamers across the globe. You play the part of Jacob and Evie Frye, two siblings who are out to find a Piece of Eden in London and eliminate the Templars.

Set in Victorian London, the game allows you to use kukri knives, cane swords, revolvers and brass knuckles against the Templars. You can also pilot horse-carriages to move around the city. Two of the most exciting features are the improved parkour and fluidity of movement, along with the ability to carry out missions revolving around historical icons such as Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, Alexander Graham Bell, Jack The Ripper, Karl Marx and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Excited much? What’s even cooler is that it comes with a pretty long campaign mode.
