Time: 25 minutes
Mood: Adventurous
What you need: An internet connection, Google Maps, and a mouse (for better navigation)
Yes, it's the weekend. No, you don't have any cool plans yet. Hold on, do you want to climb Mt Everest? Or explore the islands of Andaman and Nicobar?
The new Google Maps interface lets you go deeper into the routes and explore the surrounding areas in detail. Its 3D feature makes it feel (almost) like you're on foot. The Everest base camp to the summit is the coolest route there is and once at the top, you can stare down at the magnificent view with a slight tilt of the mouse. The best part is that you can be back in less than 30 minutes (no matter where in the world you may roam), to finish up your assignments that are due tomorrow.
We all have a couple of minutes, sometimes hours to kill in a day. And sometimes we just need a break from the dreariness of assignments, placement preparations, and semester exams. Don't worry, we've got you covered. The next time you've got some time to waste, check out "Effective Time Wasting Strategies" on our community section for the most effective ways to waste your time (you heard it right!), where we bring you the coolest stuff on the internet.

If I'm not at my table I'm either chatting up over fizzy drinks or climbing in the Himalayas.
