In a nutshell - A Banker-turned-Entrepreneur. I started my career crunching numbers, first as a Chartered Accountant and then, as an Investment Banker. Innate curiosity led me to develop a knack for understanding trends underlying industries such as building materials, consumer goods and metals and mining. Over time, I became an advisor of choice at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for clients such as the Aditya Birla Group, Carlyle PE, Vedanta Resources and CRH. The biggest achievement for me was being offered advisory assignments even after I had quit investment banking.
