@Aniket, lyf at IIMC isnt as hectic as to sleep for oly 3 hrs. lol. Infact today I slept for 12 hrs. IIMC has a bohemian reputation of encouraging students to explore individuality. Hence, in second year you get loads of free time to explore your interests

The resume prep tips etc. would be extensively covered once you enter the campus. IIM's have a well defined process for resume making , verification etc. so you need not bother about it much. For now just focus on getting in to your college of choice first.

@aniket aniket - IB roles are few in IIMs and usually people with Fin background or people with very good acads (and college) get a shortlist. If you want to build a resume for IB take few Fin courses like CFA etc. However, good acads is a necessary condition.

@aniket it does give you an edge especially in the courses you take here but it's not a mandate as such.

@aniket it isn't. You have companies visiting the campus looking for people with 3+ years of work ex and you have laterals as well. Our batch has a lot of people with similar work ex range, so an experience of 4 years is no way a negative thing.

Guys , How studies in IIM give exposure to industry ? In short what pedagogy they follow ?

Hi Aniket. IIMA maintains good relationship with industries through the Alumni network, consulting experience by profs in various industries and through other forums. The restructure the curriculum regularly and add new courses to stay relevant.

And the pedagogy is mostly case based with mixture of simulations and industry based speaker sessions.
