Analysing Mock Tests - 40 Days to CAT

Around 40 days to CAT remaining. Should you do just be giving mock tests? Should you leave the topics you're weak in? How can you improve your score by atleast 50 marks in the last 40 days?     Accuracy in PJs can be improved by getting the basics right. Refer to some study material or notes which has the basics and try solving Qs using them. Also, with a Question Bank of 100 odd Qs, you can try making your own rules also.

    Unless you are clear with basic DI Charts, you will find it difficult to solve Qs. So get comfortable with Tables, Bar, Pie, Line graphs and stuff like Venn Diagram and Cubes. Then you can start solving Mocks and attempting Qs through it.

    Geometry will give you 4-5 Qs normally and if you are able to do 2-3, thats decent. Work on the areas that you are missing out but don't be too troubled if you aren't able to crack them.

    First, get comfortable with percentage concept. Then do questions on each common chart: table, bar, line, pie, etc. Then attempt previous year's CAT questions. Have an exit time of 5 minutes for each set and if you are not able to make any progress, leave the set after 5 mins.
