Quant is not one of my strengths and XAT's Quant is known to be particularly tough , how should I prepare for it? What can I do to improve my speed in all the sections?

@Tanya: Concentrate more on the Verbal and Logical Ability, as it is you would have prepared for Quant during CAT, which is more than enough. Be aware of current affairs, go through news items from the past 3 months for GK and essay writing. See if you can take a mock test for XAT.

@Anjali, Quant in XAT is more or less the same level as CAT, you dont need to worry. For speed, try attempting mock tests and practice solving Quant questions. If you are worried about quant specifically, give quant mock tests everyday, i personally did that only.

I find the QA n DI a bit difficult then CAT. Many say that you need to be clear in the core concepts. So any specific materials for QA?

@Anjali, i personally referred to Career Launcher study material and for essay writing, you need to practice and review yourself and others who are also preparing for XAT

@Amol, I used CL material only for all preparations even for decision making, you can try other online sources and exams for different types of questions

@Vikrant. If you feel you are not comfortable with XAT's QA and DI, you need to first understand the core concepts thoroughly and then solve questions. Don't rush into mock tests before being clear about the concepts, it wont fetch good results. You can refer Career Launcher material.

@ishan prepare specifically for the essay writing. Also verbal is to be prepared with more efforts for XAT as it has got a good weightage. U can brush up quant before 3 to 4 days of exams.

@srushti. LR is same as CAT. I personally didn't it find different. The speed levels required might change for both exams. I insist you to give some mock tests and adapt your speed accordingly.
