Hi Priyanka. For TISS-NET interviews, it is a good idea to brush up on your general knowledge. More importantly, yo should be clear about 'Why HR', since TISS offers only a specialized course in HRM&LR

You could keep these things in mind when preparing: recent laws/bills/amendments related to Labour Laws, economy and the state of labor in India. Any recent events that had implications on subjects related to your majors (ex if you are an economics major, you should be able to talk at length abot, say, demonetisation) You should be clear about (as I said) 'Why HR'.

Hi Bosco. An interview is generally more about your aptitude and your attitude than your knowledge about the 'management'. Hence, do not get worried if you don't know a lot of jargons that are commonly used in Management. However, it is advisable to know your basics, especially if yo have a specialization in mind.

Hi. I wanted your views regarding my chances of getting calls from various IIMs. I'm expecting around 98 percentile in CAT. My acads are 95% in 10th, 88% in 12th, 80 in Engg.(Mechanical). Work Ex. of 15 months, in Oil&Gas Engg. Consultancy. I am also applying in SP Jain, NITIE, XLRI, IIT-D, IIT-M, XIMB, DSE, IMI. Should I apply in some other particular institution as well? I wish to be a business analyst. I believe opting for 'Operations' should do. What do u think mam?

Your choice of specialization should be based on a variety of factors including your interest and your background. I think those are good institutes that you plan to apply to.
