Hi, there is no correct time to start preparing as such. If you are targeting next year's MBA CET, start preparing now. It all depends on your clarity of concepts since CET is more about speed and accuracy.

Since, the official notification is not out yet, I can't comment. However in the past it has accepted CMAT scores.

First understand the concepts, solve good amount of mock tests. During actual exam start with the section you are most confident about and then go to most difficult one.

Since JBIMS do not conduct GD PI rounds for admission process, it is not considered. However, during placements it will be important.
