@padam It's not that we are more focused on entrepreneurship only... But yes we do have a great entrepreneurship culture, with our own incubation cell. There has also been some successful seed funding coming out from it and the college also a policy of promoting entrepreneurship through a paid holiday from placement. That is to say, anyone is free to try his/her startup and even then come back after two years and sit for placements (the institute gives a 20k stipend per month throughout the two years to further support them)

@Indraneel - IIMU has a very strong culture of research with some very revered academics involved in research at the Institute. That being said, you are not expected to do a lot of research yourself in your PGP course. However, there will be certain courses that would require you to perform primary and secondary research yourself.

@Harsh Vaibhav Since I have had calls from both IIMU and NM and chose IIMU over NM, I can give you my reasoning.. 1. The batch size- The batch size is HUGE is NM and relatively it is much smaller here. So there are better opportunities for each student in each field, may it be academic related or extra-curricular. 2. The faculty- Being an IIM, the pedagogy is of an IIM with faculty coming from the older IIMs with a lot of experience and expertise. 3. If you compare the placement report of the two institutes, you would find a growing trend in IIMU, and the report is audited , so one can rest assured of the authenticity of the numbers shown 4. The ROI is better at IIMU 5. IIMU has its own permanent campus, with its hostel in the vicinity ( and having a good infrastructure, gives a big advantage ) 6. The academic-focussed culture here- IIMU focuses on building the academic excellence in each stream that is taught here. This will be helpful for anyone for a much longer run than the first CTC

The students get to interact with the professors which are to take the subjects and know about the course outline and what the course demands. @Kunal - The first years will have twin sharing rooms. The rooms have wood paneled furnitures like book shelves, writing tables and almirahs. And yes, they are fully air-conditioned too. The hostel is state of the art with tiled washrooms which are kept clean by the dedicated housekeeping stuff.

@Akshay we have tie ups with acclaimed schools in Europe and Germany, which include HHL Leipzig, EDHEC France, EBS, etc, for the Student Exchange Program. Around 10% of the batch opt for the same and are selected on the basis of their grades . Besides that , we have a vibrant IBP program which is a 2 week program which allows you to work with renowned international firms in various parts of the world like Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, and get invaluable industry and international exposure .Around 50 % of the batch opt for the same. apart from that, we have 13 students doing their internships in the Middle east this year

@Nitin - There is a lottery for the selction of students once they fulfil the CGPA criteria. As of now your batch will have 96 students travelling for IBP (24 each for Singapore, Malaysia, bangkok and Dubai), so a few will miss out.
