Hi, Gowtham. We shall be moving to our new campus from the next academic year. We are infact in a position to move in January itself but logistically it wouldn't make sense to move for a month and half so we shall move when the new batch joins in June.

Hi Shamika. Yes there is quite a lot of difference is the rigor during examinations and festivals. The most rigorous though are the group assignments and the quizzes that take place periodically. In addition it depends on you how much you get involved in the daily activities of the institute. (Like joining clubs and committees)

Hey Akankshya. You could go ahead with edx or coursera in line with the domain of your choice! There are a lot of options available even for finance like nse certifications and udacity for big data and analytics.

Hi Nitesh. Last year we had an average of 13.01 which is the highest amongst the new IIMs, not considering foreign placements. This year also we are expected to touch similar numbers. You can download our placement brochure for further details.

I also suggest mastering your excel skills and maybe VBA as that is a skillset that is useful during the two years of MBA and something many recruiters prefer as well.

Apart from the daily classes and submissions all major festivals are celebrated on campus. There are regular workshops, organized by the clubs and committees to ensure that all individuals are upto speed before the summer and final placements.

That's really impressive Challa. You would require in the 98s to get calls from the older IIMs (ABC). For the other I'm guessing somewhere around 96-97 should get you calls.

First year is the same for everybody. Only in the second year will you have your electives. Also most IIMs dont have specializations any more. Its more to do with majors and minors which is determined by the number of subject of a domain that you take.
