Personal Interview is one of the most important components for getting into the course. Therefore, lay a strong focus on its preparation. Even though the criterion for interview is confidential, and the interview varies from person to person, we recommend you the following: • Keep your calm during the PIT-PI • Know why you want to do HRM&LR • Be well versed with the prevailing social issues in the country • Try to connect past work experience and educational background to HRM • Why you want to join TISS?

The course combines both practical exposure and academic rigour. We have four fieldworks spread across four semesters, one summer internship and one NGO stint. Therefore, there is a wide interaction with the industry. The number of seats are 60+8. The final selection ratio from PIT-PI is 1:13 approx. Therefore, the level of hard work required is subjective.

Any special coaching needed to crack the essay, gd and pi rounds

    04:55 PM

    Profile Picture TISS Mumbai

The topics in the PIT round can vary but they might revolve around social issues specifically related to labour, government schemes and their impact or any social policy issue that has been debated over the past 4–5 years in the country. So we would recommend you to go through the newspapers daily.
