Below is not an exhaustive list, but some important topics to cover. Quantitative Aptitude Basic concepts on Numbers • Prime and Composite numbers: o Test for a number to be prime • Rules of divisibility • H.C.F and L.C.M for whole numbers and fractions o Product of two numbers = Product of their H.C.F and L.C.M • BODMAS Rule • Squares (at least up to 20) & Cube (at least up to 10) • Square root & Cube root Simple Equations • The candidate is expected to frame an appropriate equation from the given word problem, and this is the most challenging part. • Once the equations are framed, solving them is very easy. • This skill is necessary to solve questions from sections like Time& Distance, Time & Work, Ratio & Proportion, Age Problems, etc • Problems with one equation -one unknown or 2 equations- 2 unknowns (Simultaneous Equations) can be expected.
