@Ayush Upadyay, We can not compare B-schools on this thread. How about we can let you know more about our institute. First of all, IIM Rohtak is situated in the vicinity of Delhi/NCR, which gives it a strategic advantage. IIM Rohtak had completed its placements by Jan 2017 (both summers and finals). Our average package this year for finals has been about 12.3 lakhs and for summers it has been above 56k. Hi Jeeva. Yes we did have some good companies in Operations. See our placement reports for both finals and summers. However you should not go by the companies only and should keep in mind your long-term interest.

Hi Saurabh. We had a batch of 44 % freshers and everyone got a chance to prove themselves in placements. If you are talking about opportunity there is no such demarcation. Although some companies have a criteria but most companies do not distinguish. (Fresher here : ) )

@Nikita, Work-ex does have some weightage in the shortlisting process, though it is not necessary. An overall balanced profile (such as 10th, 12th, graduation etc.) is obviously advantageous, as it will improve your chances of selection.

You can get any profile here with 2 years work-ex in IT. People have gone to finance, marketing, operations, consulting, hr roles. Previous work-ex is not a constraint in this matter. If you want to know about IT roles, we have roles which are offered including Business development, Cloud consulting, Pre-sales consulting, Senior Business analyst, Consultant etc.

Even IT involves a lot of managerial activities. As a manager you would have to understand more of the business side rather than the technical side.Hence you have a lot of fields you can choose from such as Marketing, Operations or Finance apart from IT.
