@Neeladri - Hi Niladri. 1. No of companies recuriting through PPOs and Summers varies every year. A few like Marico, Dabur, Pidilite recruit mostly through PPO where as Asian Paints, HUL, ITC, L'Oreal and several others recruit in summers and finals both 2.We are one of the most active campuses as far as Bschool Competitions are concerned. There's no limit to no of entries. We have seen atleast 100+ students participating. 3. As far as summers are concerned, shortlisting is majorly on your profile before MBA. For finals, some companies also include CGPA. However we don't see a pattern in the shortlisting criteria of companies

@Tamarind Wagon - Goldman Sachs, Nomura and SBI Capital Markets offer the most coveted Investment Banking roles. These companies recruit in large numbers in Summers and finals both. Criteria for recruitment is academics + inclination towards core finance

@Sonalika: A variety of roles in operations like FS BA Operations, Supply Chain by some of the prominent recruiters being L&T, Seimens, Mahindra, Loginext, Godrej and Boyce, Asian Paints, HCCB etc

@Abid, your work ex and age won't be a concern for securing a seat. Regarding placements, it depends on what role and profile you are looking at post MBA. Relevant work-ex is always welcome.

@ravi kanmani.. 26% of the students at NMIMS are freshers or with experience less than an year. Freshers have equal opportunities as compared to students with work experience. In fact many competitions like Loreal Brandstorm, an international level competition is open only for students with less than 2 years. Even for placements many companies look at freshers for certain roles.

@Aishvarye: Hostels are available for male as well as female students hailing from different parts of the country. Students may opt for AC or non-AC rooms as per their preferences. hi guys firstly thank you for doing this . i had a question regarding past acads. are they very important and if yes can u name some finance companies that do not give much weightage to it. my profile is i am a commerce graduate having completed my company secretary CS course and i have finished my general law . but my 12th score is a little low so i wanted a realistic picture of which companies dont consider past acads too much and look for profiles and cgpa etc . thank you for doing this
